PACK

PACK
  • Three camps offered: Sport Camp (ages 4-7), Adventure Camp (ages 8-12), and Teen/Adult Camp (ages 13-Adult)

  • Therapeutic goals set for each camper in conjunction with their parents/guardians, teacher, and/or therapist

  • 50 campers each summer

PACK consists of three summer day camps that serve 50 local individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. These eightweek camps provide a unique experience focused on developing life skills through fun activities, projects, and challenges. Activities include rock climbing, canoeing, rafting, biking, and many more.

Throughout the camps, our participants join their able-bodied peers for daily activities that take place in and around the community. This integration builds each camper’s social skills while simultaneously teaching able-bodied children how to interact with members of the community who have disabilities.

"Thank you to the staff at SVAS, who perform so well at one of the toughest, most demanding, yet rewarding jobs out there. Your love and passion for the success of our children is very evident and profound in their lives."
