This winter season every instructor and volunteer must attend one dryland and at least one on-snow training.

These trainings are required for instructors and volunteers participating with our Fresh Tracks and Higher Ground winter programs. We will also offer trainings (December 14th and 17th) for those individuals who will be working solely with our Special Olympics winter programs. The on-snow clinics are divided into two categories so we can spend more time on each topic. You may sign up for the Visually Impaired and Developmental Disabilities training, or you may sign up for the clinic that concentrates on Mono/Bi skiing. Of course, you are more than welcome to sign up for both if you would like the experience! Look through the list of mandatory trainings below and please email Kate, if you have not yet done so, with which trainings you would like to attend. We are also coordinating continued education trainings throughout the season in addition to these initial trainings, so keep checking back to our online calendars for the most up-to-date schedule. And don't forget ... for every 5 hours of volunteering you earn a day of skiing for you, a family member, or out-of-town friends!
